CONGRESSMAN
HOWARD COBLE RECEIVES TAX FIGHTER AWARD

The
National Tax Limitation Committee has honored Congressman
Coble with its 108th Congress “Tax Fighter Award.”
NTLC
President Lewis K. Uhler announced presentation of the
award to Congressman Coble in Washington, DC, saying “Coble’s
votes on tax and spending issues in the 108th Congress earned
him an ‘A’ grade and the Tax Fighter Award. Howard
Coble has led the battle on behalf of taxpayers in his North
Carolina district and across America to make the Bush tax
cuts permanent, to eliminate the death tax, to provide incentives

“Congressman
Coble’s constituents can be particularly pleased and proud
because he has the distinction of having been a strong taxpayer
advocate throughout his 20 years in Congress,” concluded
Uhler.
Background
information: Since 1975 the National Tax Limitation Committee,
a 501(c)(4) grass roots taxpayer activist organization, has worked
to limit taxes and spending – and to reduce the size and
scope of government at all levels. NTLC has led the national
movement for constitutional tax and spending limits at the state
and federal levels.
NTLC
publishes a congressional scorecard at the conclusion of each
Congress, as it has for 20 years. NTLC’s is the only national
taxpayer organization scorecard carried in the highly respected
Almanac of American Politics.
