Coble to Appear on Bill Moyers Show

A leading critic of the congressional pension program will appear on a nationally-broadcast television newsmagazine this weekend to discuss the issue. U.S. Rep. Howard Coble (R-NC), who has refused to participate in a program that he has labeled a “taxpayers’ rip-off,” will be featured in a segment of the PBS television program known as NOW with Bill Moyers.

Congressman Coble recently taped an interview in his Capitol Hill office that will air this weekend. The interview was conducted by former ABC television correspondent Sylvia Chase who is now a regular on the Moyers program.

NOW with Bill Moyers will be broadcast nationally this Friday, July 2 at 9 p.m. UNC-TV will air the program Sunday, July 4 at 2 p.m.
